In 2017 Professor Byrne secured €120,000 funding from the RCSI Industry Seed Fund; a €50,000 cash contribution from Champions Oncology (https://championsoncology.com/) was matched by RCSI, with an additional €20,000 "in kind" contribution from Champions towards additional research costs. » read more
